Muay Thai and K-1 / Kickboxing
Muay Thai is recognized globally as the most effective striking art today. Thailand´s national sport, Muay Thai, is based on simplicity and effectiveness. Honed over 2000 years, it is a
graceful blend of punches, elbows, knees, and kicks. The core of Muay Thai is its effectiveness in real situations, be it in the ring or on the street. It relies on simple moves and efficient movement to generate maximum power.
K-1 combines stand up techniques from Muay Thai, Karate, Taekwondo, Savate, San Shou, Kickboxing, western-style Boxing, and other martial arts. It´s rules are similar to those of kickboxing but they have been simplified to promote exciting matches that may end in a knockout win. K-1´s techniques and unique rules have led some supporters to declare it a sport distinct from Kickboxing while others maintain that it is just a style of kickboxing.

Mixed Martial Arts
MMA is a combination of the best fighting systems. In 1993, the Ultimate Fighting Championship forever changed martial arts by creating a tournament to pit the world´s best martial artists against each other.
The tournament was designed to answer the age-old question, “Which martial art is the most effective in a real life, no-rules situation?” After 15 years of MMA events around the globe by the UFC and other organizations, MMA mania has now taken over the sports world. More importantly, it is now widely accepted that a combination of Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, and Wrestling is a strong foundation for fighting in a no-holds-barred situation. A complete fighter is someone who can fight in the 4 primary ranges of combat: kicking, punching, clinching / kneeing / takedowns, and ground fighting.

Yoga
Hatha Yoga - The Yoga of Postures
What most people refer to as simply "yoga" is actually Hatha Yoga. Hatha Yoga is a system of yoga introduced by Yogi Swatmarama, a yogic sage in the 15th century in India. This particular system of yoga is the most popular one, and it is from which several other Styles of Yoga originated including Power Yoga, Bikram Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, and Kundalini Yoga. The word "hatha" comes from the Sanskrit terms "ha" meaning "sun" and "tha" meaning "moon". Thus, Hatha Yoga is known as the branch of Yoga that unites pairs of opposites referring to the positive (sun) and negative (moon) currents in the system. It concentrates on the third (Asana) and fourth (Pranayama) steps in the Eight Limbs of Yoga.
Hatha Yoga tries to achieve balance between body and mind, as well as attempts to free the more subtle spiritual elements of the mind through physical poses or Asanas, Breathing Techniques or Pranayama, and Meditation.
